1 garlic clove, halved lengthwise
1 romaine lettuce
1/2 cup vegan parmesan cheese
(i despise vegan cheeses and don't use this
but if you want to go for it)
3 tbsp olive oil
1 large garlic clove, halved
4 slices whole wheat bread, crusts removed,
cut into cubes
egg substitute equivalent to 1 egg
1 tsp vegetarian Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice (1/2 lemon)
2 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper
preheat oven to 375F/190C
pour oil into a small pan and add garlic, heat gently 5 minutes
remove and discard garlic, place the crumbs in a bowl and
toss to coat with oil. place on cookie sheet and bake for 10
minutes, or until crisp. remove and let cool.
mix dressing ingredients and whisk.
rub inside of salad bowl with garlic halves and discard.
place in lettuce (and cheese) drizzle dressing and toss.
sprinkle croutons on then toss again.
